Gender Bias: The Dividing Flaw of Healthcare
Writing this personal essay was so difficult for me. I struggled to put myself in, to be vulnerable. Not to mention my world came crumbling down around me during the process. First, the COVID-19 shut down, then ending my relationship of two and a half years, safe to say I felt pretty alone. I wish I could have done more to tell my story and created some elaborate video like I had originally intended. But life happened, and finishing it at all was something I had to motivate myself to do every day. I hope that you can understand my story, and I hope you go forward with a new understanding of how the treatment of women in medicine needs to be changed.
